Gila River Casino Vee Quiva is one of three casinos owned by the Gila River Indian Community. It opened its doors back in 1997 and is easy to get to from downtown Phoenix. The casino is only 15 miles south of I-10 on 51st Avenue. Gila River Casino Vee Quiva is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The casino recently went through some remodeling. They now have a bigger and better gaming floor, an expanded Poker Room, a Bingo Hall with new updates and additions, more convenient parking, and the new Estrella Deli. And if the games and food don’t get all of your money, there is also a gift shop. Gila River Casino Vee Quiva is the only casino in Phoenix’s West Valley and the casino offers a shuttle service to and from the casino. If you decide to drive yourself, the casino also has a valet service. There is no hotel onsite at the Gila River Casino Vee Quiva but there are plenty of places to stay in nearby Phoenix.

The Gila River Casino Vee Quiva has over 800 Slot Machines, including Video Poker, Video Keno and Video Blackjack, on their game floor. There are all levels of slots from nickel games to $2 slots. In addition, their new Poker Room sports 14 separate tables for live poker. The games played there is everything from Hold’Em, Stud, and Omaha. The Gila River Casino Vee Quiva Bingo Hall has been updated with renovations making it easier and more convenient. There are two daily sessions. The morning session starts at 12:30 and the evening session starts at 6:30.
